What I Do
Based in sustainability principals and a commitment to natural materials, I seek to bring simplicity and a thoughtfulness to lived spaces — whether a single piece, a whole room, or a home redesign.
My appreciation for designer furniture began at a time when I couldn’t afford the pieces I wanted. My limited means led me to flea markets and auction sites, and vintage, well-loved pieces.
Contemporary furniture and design pieces are typically factory produced, full of chemicals, and of inferior quality. These pieces age quickly and have extremely low resale value; the moment you buy a new piece, it loses most of its value. Vintage items not only age beautifully, they hold their value and often appreciate over time.
On top of it all, new furniture use virgin hardwoods and drive deforestation and wildlife loss, especially in Europe.
Beautiful, well-crafted vintage furniture is better for your home, your wallet and and the planet.
